Team Lead Allocation & Internal Transport

As a Team Lead, you play an important role in creating a department where people thrive, collaborate, and perform at their best. Through inspiring leadership, you ensure efficient operations while supporting the development of both individuals and the team.

Your team will be the Internal and External Transport department, which is responsible for key warehouse processes, including put away, replenishment, quality control movements, buffer-to-drop operations, coordination with external partners, and initiatives that support optimal space utilization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team by creating a positive working environment where well-being, engagement, and results go hand in hand.
• Ensure efficient daily operations through planning, coordination, and close collaboration with coordinators, colleagues, and leaders across the warehouse.
• Set clear goals and expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee development through regular performance, well-being, and development conversations.
• Facilitate daily team meetings, communicate priorities, follow up on KPIs, and ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Take responsibility for workforce planning, absence management, recruitment, onboarding, and overall staffing within the department.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, always seeking opportunities to optimize processes and ways of working.
• Make operational decisions and priorities tasks in line with business needs while contributing to the overall performance of the warehouse.

About you

• You have experience from a similar leadership role, preferably within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
• You communicate professionally in both Danish and English.
• Experience with SAP or another Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an advantage.
