SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

Location:

Aarhus, DK, 8000

Category:  IT
Job Type:  Headquarter

Are you an experienced SAP consultant that can help us take the next step in our SAP S/4HANA journey, where your knowledge and experience with SAP will play a crucial role in contributing to Søstrene Grene’s future operations and growth?

We recently went live with our new SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation based on clean-core principles. Now, we are looking for an experienced SAP FICO consultant to support the continued development and support of our Finance organization.

If you have experience within Financial account, controlling and other areas such as Master Data, and BTP, we would love to hear from you.

On the task level, we are looking for someone with experience in areas such as:

Run & Improve

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for FI/CO topics: incident handling, root-cause analysis, and fixes
  • Own and maintain FI/CO configuration (customizing) with proper governance and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvements that reduce manual work and strengthen quality (close, reconciliation, allocations, approvals)

Change delivery (Enhancements / Projects)

  • Participate in end-to-end delivery: from requirements and design to go-live
  • Define functional specifications where development/integration is required and coordinate with technical teams
  • Support test planning, regression testing, defect evaluation, and release readiness

Finance process partnership (Business-facing)

  • Act as a trusted partner for Finance process owners, ensuring needs are captured clearly and prioritized
  • Provide input into roadmap/backlog and help evaluate solution options and impacts
  • Support training and adoption (especially for new or changed finance processes)

Broader S/4 Finance tracks (experience in any is a plus)

  • Group Reporting / consolidation-related processes (if relevant in your setup)
  • Treasury / cash & liquidity processes
  • E-invoicing / compliance-driven reporting (country-specific requirements)
  • Fiori enablement and modern Finance user experience improvements

Integration

  • Collaborate effectively with integration/platform colleagues when FI/CO processes involve:
    • interfaces impacting financial postings
    • workflow/approvals and automation
    • compliance integrations (e-invoicing, reporting)
  • BTP understanding is a plus (e.g., workflow/integration concepts), but the role is primarily functional FI/CO.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you have a solid understanding of FI/CO processes so you can translate business needs into SAP solutions. It would be a plus, but not a requirement, if you have experience with retail businesses.

You are curious by nature, which will show in your continuous interest in how and why we work the way we do at Søstrene Grene, enabling you to act as an effective partner to our sisters within Finance. As SAP is still somewhat new to our organization, you need to be patient and a keen communicator to help facilitate learning and adoption.

Become part of our IT team
You will join an IT department of about 40 colleagues – or “sisters”, as we call each other regardless of gender.

The IT team’s ambition is to enable a performance-driven organization with processes and systems that support the needs of the business while staying true to our values. SAP is a key strategic initiative. The team spans broadly in both age and experience, but we share a common ambition to deliver strong IT solutions.

we succeed through strong collaboration (both internally and with functional areas), positive dialogue and good collegial relationships.
