Søstrene Grene is a Danish family-owned company that was founded in 1973 and currently has more than 325 stores in 17 countries. Our stores offer a wide range of home accessories, furniture, kitchen utensils, hobby items, party supplies, gift wrapping, office supplies, children's interiors and toys, as well as seasonal products. New products arrive in stores every week.
In Venlo, the new distribution center will be opened in September 2025 with which we supply our E-com and Retail. The DC is equipped with the latest technologies and has a size of 45,000 m2, where at least 100 to 250 FTE will be operationally employed. Fully geared to the growth target for the coming years.
Quality Control Operator
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our product range meets the high-quality standards our customers expect.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the warehouse regarding sample collection and returns, as well as managing rework tasks (sorting, relabeling, scrapping) as needed.
- Close coordination with the QC department at the warehouse in Denmark regarding QC tasks and various findings.
- Physically opening and inspecting samples for all incoming goods at the warehouse.
- Taking photos of product samples and verifying critical master data.
- Registering all findings in the Qarma system.
- Coordinating with the Purchasing Department regarding findings and deciding on actions for defective products.
- Estimating rework tasks such as relabeling and sorting.
- Ensuring that all products comply with Søstrene Grene’s quality requirements and standards.
About you:
- Experience in quality control or similar functions.
- Conscientious with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with Qarma and/or SAP or similar systems is an advantage.

Onboarding: You will start your employment with a two-week training and induction program in Aarhus (Denmark)
Hours: 37 hours (fulltime)
