We are looking for an IT support Engineer to take responsibility to keep our distribution center operational.
Your role at Søstrene Grene
Your tasks will include:
- Warehouse Systems Support: Maintain WMS, barcode scanners, printers, and IoT devices.
- Coordinating with vendors and central IT teams on projects and escalations.
- Management of servers, networks, PCs, printers, and other hardware.
- Participate in project work - Assist with upgrades, rollouts, HW replacement
- Take part in Emergency Response to resolve critical issues quickly.
- End-user support and help desk services, troubleshoot software/hardware, and training other sisters
- Potential participation in an IT shift setup outside normal business hours
You will work in an IT environment based on Microsoft technologies, such as Windows Server and Microsoft Windows platforms on PC and POS devices, but also network equipment.
The Team
You will be part of a competent and dedicated team ensuring professional service and support for the entire organization. We are a total IT department of 40 Sisters (that's what we call each other - regardless of gender), of which the IT Operations and IT infrastructure teams consist of 11 Sisters.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be part of an IT organization with lots of activity, a good drive, and not least good spirit and humor. We prioritize a good work environment, enabling us to go home from work every day with a smile on our face – even if we have a lot to do. We work together across our teams and help each other where it is needed. Your closest colleagues are based in Denmark, but being a distributed setup, we are rarely all gathered in the same location, and online contact ensures that we have a common spirit and feel togetherness both professionally and socially, no matter where we are.
About you:
We imagine that you are trained as an IT Supporter or data technician with a focus on IT infrastructure. You are an engaged person who has a great interest in working with IT and is good at engaging with users. You have a strong service mindset and the desire to help others comes naturally to you.
You are good at collaborating with others but can also work independently, and you take pride in organizing your work and completing tasks on time.
You can recognize yourself within several of the below topics:
- MBO+/HBO level with relevant knowledge in the field of IT
- Trained IT supporter or IT data technician with some years of experience.
- Solid experience within IT infrastructure management
- Experience administrating Windows servers, endpoints and printers.
- Knowledge within the Azure and Office 365 platforms.
- Basic network administration experience.
- Experience with warehouse/shop floor support.
- Proficiency in English is a must, Dutch is a plus.
- You are strong in keeping an overview, even with many different tasks;
- You have a proactive attitude and can think "out of the box";
- Taking responsibility comes naturally to you
- Not afraid of heights, as some infrastructure elements are close to our ceiling
- In terms of personality, you are self-driven, eager to improve and customer-oriented, as you will be the only IT employee at our Venlo site
