Søstrene Grene is a Danish family-owned company that was founded in 1973 and currently has more than 325 stores in 17 countries. Our stores offer a wide range of home accessories, furniture, kitchen utensils, hobby items, party supplies, gift wrapping, office supplies, children's interiors and toys, as well as seasonal products. New products arrive in stores every week.
In Venlo, the new distribution centre will be opened in September 2025 with which we supply our E-com and Retail. The DC is equipped with the latest technologies and has a size of 45,000 m2, where at least 100 to 250 FTE will be operationally employed. Fully geared to the growth target for the coming years.
Warehouse Coordinator
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you act as the right hand of the Team Leader when it comes to handling the operational processes. Where the Team Leader focuses strongly on the employees in the department, your attention primarily goes to the execution of the process so getting the job done in the best and most effective way possible.
We have 3x Warehouse Coordinator positions available covering the following departments:
- Inbound and Putaway
- Picking and Replenishment
- Outbound
During the recruitment process we will jointly determine which candidate fits best to which department.
Your role at Søstrene Grene
- Responsible for achieving the defined goals for the department, considering employee satisfaction and a good working environment.
- Responsible for the effective daily operations of the department, ensuring that the department completes current tasks according to deadlines - in close collaboration with Assists and other department employees.
- Signaling bottlenecks and collaborating in getting these resolved, together with the Team Leader and team members.
- Responsible for the effective execution of daily operations, ensuring that the department and employees function as a dynamic team, where flexibility is encouraged, and well-being is prioritized while maintaining high performance. The Warehouse Coordinator must be able to make decisions and prioritize various tasks in relation to overall operations.
- Participate and take an active role in the frequent departmental meetings held by the Team Leader.
- Set clear boundaries and goals for employees and demonstrate clarity regarding what is expected of them. Participating in the operations to benchmark performance.
- Responsible for daily/weekly planning of work in own department and co-responsible for general planning across the warehouse. Ensure you have sufficient control over current and planned workload.
- Active engagement in improvement initiatives within the team.

About you:
- You have at minimum MBO level with relevant knowledge in the field Warehouse/Logistics
- You have relevant experience in a similar position, preferably within a distribution centre
- You are strong in keeping an overview, even with many different tasks
- Master the English language on a professional level
- Experience in SAP is a big plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Starting date: November 17th, 2025
Location: Venlo (the Netherlands)
Onboarding: Total of three weeks of induction and training in Aarhus (Denmark), followed by further training in our warehouse in The Netherlands
Hours: 37 hours (fulltime)
