DC Excellence Manager

Location:

Brabrand, DK, 8220

Category:  Supply Chain
Job Type:  Headquarter

As DC Excellence Manager, you will help shape how our distribution centres operate, improve and grow. This is a chance to take ownership of a newly established function with broad impact across our logistics organisation, building strong foundations for performance, standardisation and development.

You will work closely with distribution centre leadership, IT, Supply Chain and Management to turn data, systems and processes into practical improvements. At Søstrene Grene, we believe strong operations are built on simplicity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Leading a cross-functional team across DC support functions

You will lead a cross-functional team of specialists in Warehouse Processes, SAP EWM, Warehouse Planning, Logistics Analytics and Operational Performance. The team supports our distribution centres in Denmark and the Netherlands with process development, systems, planning, reporting and performance management.

Local management teams are responsible for daily operations, while this team supports the wider DC network. You will help ensure continuous improvement, shared learning and common standards, supported by robust processes and data-driven decisions. With colleagues in both Aarhus and Venlo, the role requires close collaboration across locations, functions and cultures.

Driving performance, improvement and standardisation across distribution centres

In this role, you will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement and process optimisation across our distribution centres. You will develop, implement and standardise best practices and key warehouse processes across sites, and support major operational changes, transformation projects, automation and digitalisation across the DC network.

You will also:

- Develop warehouse processes and system capabilities, and drive the roadmap for SAP EWM and related warehouse solutions

- Prioritise improvements together with Operations and IT

- Own the performance management framework, including reporting, dashboards, KPI structures, performance reviews and follow-up

- Create transparency through benchmarking, analysis and decision support for DC management and executive leadership

- Develop warehouse and capacity planning processes, improve workload and resource forecasting, support peak planning and operational readiness, and ensure strong data quality and an analytical foundation for decisions

Your experience and strengths

We imagine that you have solid experience in warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain management, and that you bring experience from leading specialists, projects or improvement initiatives. You are highly analytical and comfortable working with data, reporting and KPIs, and you know how to turn insights into operational improvements. We also expect that you have experience with warehouse management systems, preferably SAP EWM, and that you thrive in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders.
