We work together and you can always count on a pat on the back or a helping hand from your new Sisters. 'Søstrene' means Sisters in Danish, and so, in Søstrene Grene we call each other Sisters. No matter gender, no matter position.
Beause Søstrene Grene is a family business, owned by two brothers and where employees are joint together in some kind of sisterhood. We support each other, we make each other stronger, and we laugh together. Often. We call it Sister Spirit.
Whether you are working in one of our stores or at our HQ, you will experience a strong Sister Spirit and a dynamic everyday life. We promise that it will never be boring.

Who are Anna and Clara?
Søstrene' refers to the two hosts, sisters Anna and Clara, who represent the company in all written narratives. Anna is the creative sister with a highly developed sense of aesthetics, while Clara is the practical and orderly sister. Together, they are behind the diverse experience that Søstrene Grene always has to offer.

Our history
A Danish family business since 1973. "The story of Søstrene Grene begins in 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city, when the husband and wife team of Knud Cresten Vaupell Olsen and Inger Grene open the first store. The couple's vision to create a sensory store experience has since then come to life through innovative and aesthetic designs and, today, it is also known as ""the wonderful world of Anna & Clara,"" run by the couple's sons, Mikkel and Cresten Grene.
