SAP S/4HANA Architect
Do you want to be part of an exciting SAP S/4HANA journey where your knowledge and experience give you a key role in shaping Søstrene Grene’s future operations and growth?
Søstrene Grene is in the middle of a major ERP transformation, where we are close to replacing our existing ERP system with SAP S/4HANA. For our continued journey, we are now looking for an experienced SAP Architect who can design and guide our future SAP solutions and investments – across processes, modules and integrations, and collaborate with our internal back-end resources.
Your role – what you will be working on
We are looking for someone who has solid experience with SAP S/4HANA and who can take an architect/lead role across business and IT. Among other things, you will:
- Create an overview of business needs that you translate into coherent SAP S/4HANA solution architectures including scope of modules, processes and applications.
- Act as an internal advisor and sparring partner for key stakeholders and team members on solution scenarios, best practice and the SAP roadmap.
- Steer and challenge configuration choices and enhancements, ensuring that we utilize standard when possible, and avoid unnecessary customization.
- Collaborate closely with our implementation partner and ensure that the delivered solutions follow the agreed target architecture, principles and quality standards.
- Work with our IT back-end team (e.g. integrations, infrastructure, security) to ensure correct use of SAP modules and applications and a robust technical setup.
- Define test strategy and quality gates and oversee testing of implementations to ensure they meet the defined quality and business requirements.
- Help establish good processes around validation, change management and handover to operations so that solutions are sustainable in the long term.
What you bring
To succeed in the role, it is important that you have a strong understanding of business processes and how they are best supported in SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience from SAP S/4HANA implementations. Preferably as senior functional consultant, solution architect or similar.
- Broad functional insight (for example within Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, Product Development, Buying, Finance or Master Data). Other backgrounds and focus areas can also be relevant.
- Ability to connect business requirements, processes and system design in a way that creates simple, robust and scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills – you can translate between IT and business
- It is an advantage to have knowledge of the retail industry.
As a person, you are curious and interested in understanding how we operate at Søstrene Grene. You use that insight to act as an effective sparring partner in relation to our SAP architecture.
We are at a relatively early stage of our SAP journey. You should therefore thrive in a role where you are the expert, and we will need you to help building our internal capabilities and competencies.
We imagine that you are an experienced SAP S/4HANA profile i.e a consultant or you have participated in SAP implementations or setting the ERP direction on the customer side.
Become part of our IT team
You will join an IT department of about 40 colleagues – or “sisters”, as we call each other regardless of gender.
The IT team’s ambition is to enable a performance-driven organization with processes and systems that support the needs of the business while staying true to our values. SAP is a key strategic initiative. The team spans broadly in both age and experience, but we share a common ambition to deliver strong IT solutions.
we succeed through strong collaboration (both internally and with functional areas), positive dialogue and good collegial relationships.
